Tony Hughes, Managing Director of Minster Cleaning Services in Liverpool, and fellow Director Ian Handy, recently completed their first triathlon in order to help raise funds for Ronald McDonald House.
In the photo Tony can be seen finishing and looking remarkably fresh, although maybe that was just put on for the camera!
Tony commented “Ronald McDonald House provides fantastic support for families of very poorly children who are in Alder Hey Hospital. Whilst training for this event was at times arduous it pails into insignificance compared to what those families are experiencing and knowing that money would be raised for this excellent organisation kept us going on the day.”
More information about Ronald McDonald House can be found at: https://www.rmhc.org.uk/our-houses/alder-hey/
Despite pained expressions the other side of the finishing line both Tony and Ian have agreed to repeat the challenge in 2019.
