Our relief cleaners have completed a number of summer deep cleans as part of our on-going school cleaning in Coventry over the last couple of weeks. This is to ensure that they are ready and raring to go for the new term ahead.
Many of the schools have had building and maintenance work done over the summer holidays and as a result required us to send a team of experienced cleaners in prior to the new term, to make sure that the school is as clean as a new pin ready for the return of staff and pupils this week and next. The deep cleans consist of general surface cleaning, specialised floor treatments, carpet and upholstery cleaning and high cleaning.
This deep cleaning work is extremely time-sensitive and as we generally only have a one or two week window in between the building work being finished and the school re-opening for the new term in September.
As the summer holidays are also the busiest time for us as a commercial cleaning company, this can prove quite a juggling act in terms of fitting everything in whilst at the same time providing an excellent cover service to our other clients whose permanent cleaners have requested general holidays.
Despite these pressures, the team have performed excellently and we have successfully completed all our deep cleans for our schools.
A huge thank you goes out to all staff involved for their hard work and determination to ensure that we meet and exceed our client’s expectations.
In other news, there is exciting news to help showcase the city as a Coventry Ambassador volunteer:
EnV (Coventry), the community interest company that manages the Coventry Ambassador volunteer programme, is hoping to recruit 50 new volunteers over a 12-month period following its summer events. With Coventry being European City of Sport next year and UK City of Culture in 2021, EnV is aiming to grow and sustain the volunteer legacy programme. (Source: Coventry Telegraph)
