More Medical Success for Minster Cleaning Services Nottingham

Thursday 28th June 2012 2:57 PM

Minster Cleaning Services Nottingham were delighted to be chosen as the new commercial cleaning contractor for a large Medical Centre based in Newark.
The choice of Minster was strongly influenced by a recommendation from another Medical Centre also based in Newark, which is delighted with our cleaning services and in particular our monthly CQC audit procedures.
The new contract embraces all of our cleaning services and started with a full deep clean, including carpet cleaning and interior and exterior window cleaning with our new reach and wash window cleaning system.
The practice manager commented "What a total difference, everything looks and smells so clean".

Derbyshire Branch helps Clients Prepare for CQC Registration

Friday 22nd June 2012 11:00 AM

John Mills, director at Minster Cleaning Services Derbyshire, is working with primary care medical clients to help them prepare for forthcoming Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration and ongoing compliance monitoring requirements relating to cleanliness and infection control.

By agreeing and delivering a dedicated cleaning plan based on the 'National Specifications for Cleanliness in the NHS: Primary Care Medical and Dental Premises', the branch is able to help medical practices meet the relevant 'essential standards of quality and safety' that they will be monitored against, in particular regulation 12 and its associated outcome 8.

As part of the service, the branch provides primary care medical clients with regular cleaning audits and inspections to ensure high standards are maintained. This provides ongoing peace of mind, especially when practices fall under CQC compliance monitoring from April 2013 onwards.

Peartree Medical Centre in Derby has been a valued client of Minster Cleaning Services since 2004. Mike Newbold, Practice / Business Manager comments,

"Over the last nine months, we have worked closely with Minster Cleaning Services to develop a Cleaning Plan which will dovetail with our infection control procedures and also provide a systematic approach to the specification, monitoring and reporting of all our surgery cleaning needs.

Minster Cleaning Services has taken the lead in this and has provided me with the reassurance that our surgery will be well placed to demonstrate CQC compliance with the cleanliness and infection control related requirements of the essential standards of quality and safety."

Minster Cleaning Services in Leeds recently reached their first anniversary of 'Going Green'. Marc Goddard, Operations Director at Minster Cleaning in Leeds said, "Being environmentally responsible whilst offering our customers the very latest janitorial supplies and washroom services is the right thing to do."

Colour coded microfibre cloths and mops are delivered to our clients by Minster's store man, Steve, across the Leeds and Wakefield areas on a monthly basis and used ones removed to be laundered. Other janitorial supplies and washroom services including cleaning materials are replenished, containers and spray bottles being reused rather than disposed of. We also clean schools, car showrooms, prestigious office suites and factories, being environmentally friendly whilst offering a thoroughly modern commercial cleaning service is an important consideration within all these sectors."
