CQC Inspection success for NW Ambulance Service - MCS Lancashire
Friday 11th May 2012 3:39 PM
Minster Lancashire supplies a daily cleaning service to 15 North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) sites in the Lancashire area. Our NWAS clients have consistently been very pleased with the cleaning service provided and following CQC inspections in March 2012 within a number of Ambulance Stations and the Headquarters in Broughton, the cleaning standards were reported to be very high. The NWAS Sector Manager for the Fylde Area, David Rigby, contacted Minster Lancashire following the CQC Inspections to say "I would just like to say a real big thank you for all your support during the last week pre CQC inspection. It is important to mention that although you were aware of the inspection the stations were already of a high standard. This was a very demanding inspection and one that as an organisation we needed to pass, and the CQC were very impressed with all that they witnessed. Please can you pass my sincere thanks to all your staff not just those in Blackpool but any of the NWAS stations. The people that benefit most are our patients and you should all be proud".
In addition to providing a daily cleaning service, Minster Lancashire constantly reviews and monitors the need to perform specialised deep cleans to ensure that the non-standard areas and cleaning is maintained appropriately to meet CQC standards. We have completed specialised and periodic deep cleans to many of the NWAS sites in the Lancashire area and these have included high cleaning, floor treatment, blind cleaning, carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning and window cleaning.
In addition to working with North West Ambulance Service, Minster Lancashire provides a daily cleaning service to a number of primary care medical and dental practices across the region. This high quality service includes tailor made cleaning plans and audits to assist with CQC registration (for medical practices) and ongoing compliance monitoring (for medical and dental practices).
